Dr. Karen Mendez is a board-certified adult psychiatrist and board-certified child and adolescent psychiatrist at Adelpha Psychiatric Group in Encino, California.

Her clinical experience spans children, adolescents, adults, and families, with specialized training in neurodevelopmental disorders, reproductive psychiatry, mood disorders, anxiety disorders, trauma-related conditions, and ADHD.

Prior to medical school, Dr. Mendez spent four years working at the UCLA Early Childhood Partial Hospitalization Program, where she provided evaluations, assessments, and multidisciplinary therapeutic support for children with neurodevelopmental disorders, including autism spectrum disorder. This early experience continues to inform her developmental understanding of psychiatric care and her commitment to supporting patients and families across all stages of life.
