Dr. Rahael Gupta is a board-certified adult psychiatrist and board-certified child and adolescent psychiatrist who provides thoughtful, evidence-based care across the lifespan. She combines psychiatric expertise, psychotherapy, and a deep understanding of child development, family systems, and attachment to help patients navigate emotional, behavioral, and psychiatric challenges.

Throughout her training and clinical work, Dr. Gupta has focused on helping children, adolescents, adults, and families navigate psychiatric concerns with compassion, curiosity, and evidence-based treatment. As part of this work, she facilitated groups for new mothers through UCLA’s Perinatal Intensive Outpatient Program.
Dr. Gupta has specialized training in the evaluation and treatment of neurodevelopmental disorders, including autism spectrum disorder and ADHD. She understands the importance of individualized care plans that consider developmental needs, family systems, school environments, and long-term goals.

Dr. Gupta received the Raymond W. Waggoner Award at the University of Michigan Medical School for distinguished performance in psychiatry.
She was also awarded the 2024 UCLA Gertrude Rogers Greenblatt Award in Child Psychiatry, an honor given annually to a child psychiatry fellow recognized for a deeply humane commitment to children and families requiring psychiatric care.
