Elite psychiatric care for more than just the elite few.

Comprehensive Psychiatric Care from Physicians who see the whole person.

Adelpha Psychiatric Group provides specialized psychiatric care for children, adolescents, adults and families across California with offices in Encino, Pasadena and Oakland. We offer medication management, psychotherapy and TMS all under one roof.

You do not need to know exactly what kind of care you need before reaching out. Adelpha provides thoughtful, comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and helps patients and families understand the most appropriate next step.

Our approach is grounded in high-quality care, clear guidance, and real clinical relationships.

Care that looks beyond medication alone

Our physicians combine their extensive medical and psychotherapy training to provide comprehensive, whole-person care.

Psychiatric care should not feel rushed or reduced to a brief medication check. At Adelpha, physicians may provide medication management, psychotherapy, TMS, and care coordination when clinically appropriate.

Many patients come to us because they want one practice that can understand the whole person, not just one symptom or one diagnosis. Medication may be part of treatment. Psychotherapy may be part of treatment. TMS or another specialized service may be part of treatment. The first step is understanding what is happening and what kind of care makes sense.

  • Physician-led psychiatric care.
  • Psychotherapy and medication management in one practice.
  • Close coordination with outside providers when appropriate.
  • TMS available in-house.
  • Consultation-based intake process.
  • Support for common and complex psychiatric concerns.

What we Offer

Care options for adults, children, teens, families, and  patients
with specialized needs.

01

TMS

Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation is a well-established FDA approved, non-invasive, non-medication based treatment for depression, anxious depression and OCD. It may be an option for patients whose symptoms have not improved enough with other treatments. At Adelpha, TMS is offered in-house to ensure a more efficient delivery of care resulting in more effective treatment and better outcomes.

02

Medication Management

After a thorough psychiatric evaluation, medication may be part of a patient’s customized medical treatment plan. These recommendations are provided when clinically appropriate, with attention to the full person, not just symptoms.

03

Psychotherapy

A thoughtful, evidence-based talk therapy approach is provided to help patients better understand their patterns, relationships, and emotions in the journey to achieving health, wellness and long-term goals.

04

Adult Psychiatry

Comprehensive psychiatric care for adults seeking support with anxiety, depression, ADHD, OCD, bipolar disorder, trauma-related concerns, medication questions, or more complex needs.

05

Child and Adolescent Psychiatry

Psychiatric care for children, teens, and transitional-age youth, with thoughtful support for families and guardians throughout the process.

06

Couples and Family Therapy

Our couples and family therapy services help strengthen relationships, improve communication, and navigate life’s challenges with greater understanding and connection. Whether addressing conflict, parenting concerns, major life transitions, or emotional struggles affecting the family system, our therapists provide compassionate, evidence-based care tailored to each family’s unique needs. Together, we help create healthier, more resilient relationships that support lasting well-being.

07

Psychiatric Consultation and Evaluation

We get to know you! First visits are designed to help your physician understand your history, goals, current concerns, and clinical needs. A tailored treatment plan that might include medication management, TMS, psychotherapy or other treatments will be created with your close involvement and feedback. Whether to serve as a one time consultation, second opinion, or the foundation of a longer-term therapeutic relationship, your physician at Adelpha will help you create a clear, comprehensive and evidence-based treatment plan in the initial psychiatric consultation and evaluation.

08

Telehealth and In-Person Care

Adelpha offers in-person care at all three locations – Encino, Pasadena and Oakland. During your initial consultation, your physician or marriage and family therapist will help identify if telehealth visits are clinically appropriate.

Thoughtful care for common and complex concerns.

What We
Help With

No concern is too small, no condition too complex—every patient deserves exceptional psychiatric care.

People reach out to Adelpha for many reasons. Some are looking for support with anxiety, depression, ADHD, OCD, trauma-related concerns, or medication questions. Others are navigating bipolar disorder, psychosis, substance use concerns, reproductive mental health needs, treatment-resistant symptoms, or care after a hospitalization.

You do not need to arrive with the right label. Our role is to listen carefully, understand your situation, and help determine the safest, most appropriate next step.

The first step is a consultation process.

What to Expect when you Reach Out

Thoughtful care starts with a thorough evaluation.

At Adelpha, getting started does not mean rushing into treatment without context. The first few visits start with an initial consultation period. This process includes at least two visits for adults and three visits for children and adolescents within the first month. This gives your physician or marriage and family therapist time to understand your history, current concerns, goals, previous treatment, and what kind of care may be helpful.

When appropriate, your physician or marriage and family therapist may ask to coordinate with your prior or current mental health providers, your primary care physician, or family members involved in your care. At the end of the consultation phase, we will share our impressions and recommendations. We will work with you to determine whether ongoing care with Adelpha is clinically appropriate and develop a comprehensive treatment plan.

Insurance support is part of making care accessible

Insurance and Courtesy Billing

We know cost and insurance questions can be stressful. Our team will help make the financial side of care as clear as possible and help you understand what information is needed before treatment begins.

Adelpha accepts many commercial insurance plans and also offers courtesy billing for out-of-network patients. For patients using out-of-network PPO benefits, our courtesy billing service can help reduce the burden of submitting superbills independently.

Highly trained physicians. Deeply human care.

A Team with Deep Training and Human Warmth

Clinical excellence should still feel personal.

Adelpha’s physicians bring strong clinical training, specialized psychiatric expertise, and a shared commitment to whole-person care. Many of our clinicians combine medication management with psychotherapy and TMS. The team includes psychiatrists and marriage and family therapists with experience across adult psychiatry, child and adolescent psychiatry, reproductive psychiatry, complex psychiatric care, TMS, addiction-related care, and family-focused support.

The goal is not only to provide technically strong care. It is to provide care that feels respectful, thoughtful, and grounded in a real understanding of the person in front of us.

Family involvement is handled thoughtfully, with privacy and consent.

Care for Families and Loved Ones

Support for patients and the people who care about them.

Mental health care often affects more than one person. Adelpha can support children, teens, adults, couples, and families when clinically appropriate. Because our practice includes multiple providers, we may be able to support more than one member of a family while maintaining appropriate privacy and consent boundaries.

lt patients, family members may share information or ask general questions, but the patient must be involved and provide consent before care is scheduled or family participation is included.
