Welcome To Adelpha

Adelpha Psychiatric Group is a full-service practice that provides elite psychiatric care to more than just the elite few. At their offices in Encino and Pasadena, California, the team of outstanding mental health specialists provides psychotherapy and medication management to children, teenagers, and adults.

The psychiatrists and Associate Marriage and Family Therapists (AMFTs) specialize in treating patients with severe mental health problems, including addiction, depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and other conditions. They treat a highly diverse group of patients with widely varied backgrounds and mental health histories.

The Adelpha Psychiatric Group physicians practice the type of medicine that originally drew them to psychiatry by treating the whole patient through combining psychotherapy with medication management. They possess many unique clinical skills rarely found within the mental health community.

While these experienced mental health providers pride themselves on their clinical acumen, they don’t rest on their laurels. They continually improve their knowledge and skills by remaining active in their professional associations and collaborating with world-renown leaders in research and clinical care from UCLA. They bring the most up-to-date tools available to help patients get the very best psychiatric care.

The practice focuses on making the cost of psychiatric care more manageable for their patients, and that’s where their relationship with leading insurance companies comes in. Through established relationships with providers like Aetna® PPO, HMC HealthWorks, Cigna, and ComPsych®, patients can get the care they deserve, as often as they need it.

The practice also helps patients with out-of-network PPO plans by providing courtesy out-of-network billing directly to insurance companies so patients can receive the maximum reimbursement without the hassle of superbills.

The Adelpha Psychiatric Group team also prioritizes providing a safe space for LGBTQIA+ patients and those from every background, race, religion, and orientation.

Good Faith Estimate

You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical care will cost. Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services.
You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services. This includes related costs like medical tests, prescription drugs, equipment, and hospital fees.

Make sure your health care provider gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least 1 business day before your medical service or item. You can also ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule an item or service.
If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.

For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises/consumers or call 1-800-985-3059.
