Amber Leitz, MHA

Amber Leitz, MHA

Business Manager

Amber graduated with honors from the University of California, Santa Barbara, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology with a minor in English Literature. She was an active member of the Psi Chi International Honor Society in Psychology and volunteered at the Habitat for Humanity ReStore.

She continued her education at California State University, Northridge, obtaining a master’s degree in health administration. As Treasurer of the IHI-ICan Chapter Leadership Club, she collaborated with her team to organize health discussion panels for the community. Amber now applies this expertise to deliver exceptional administrative support for our practice.

In her role, Amber ensures the seamless operation of our office by supervising administrative staff, developing and maintaining policies and procedures, handling accounting, insurance credentialing, processing claims, and offering general office support. Outside of work, she enjoys spending quality time with her family, hosting game nights, and reading.
Noemi Acosta

Noemi Acosta

Office Assistant

Noemi graduated from California State University, Stanislaus, with a bachelor’s degree in psychology, where she was an active member of the Stan State Chapter of Psi Chi. During her time there, she engaged in informational events, participated in social and volunteer activities, pursued faculty-mentored research, and held leadership roles within the organization.

Currently, she is working on her master’s degree in clinical psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy at Pepperdine University. Noemi hopes to provide quality mental health care to children and adolescents in low socioeconomic communities and to contribute to the field through clinical practice and research.

Noemi's responsibilities include scheduling new patients and follow-up visits for existing patients, taking vital signs, performing point-of-care testing for patients receiving clozapine, submitting claims, assisting with TMS treatments, and communicating messages between physicians and patients.
Klaudia Acosta

Klaudia Acosta

Office Assistant

Klaudia graduated from Humboldt State University with a bachelor’s degree in psychology. She did research within a diversity and inclusion lab where she helped to collect student stories across campus to aide in research being done in the lab. She also worked as a mentor for first generation freshman, where she loved to help connect students to resources, they may not have known about otherwise.

She then progressed to mentoring other mentors, guiding them as they learned to support their mentees while also developing their own professional, academic, and personal growth. This role was something she was passionate about, and she aspires to one day become a director of a university program dedicated to supporting first-generation college students throughout their entire academic journey, ensuring their success both during and after their time in school.

Jose Amezcua

Jose Amezcua

TMS Treater/Office Assistant

Jose graduated from Pasadena City College with associate degrees in psychology, social and behavioral science, and child and adolescent development before earning his bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of California, Santa Cruz. During his studies, he conducted research on mental health in prisons and prison reform.

Jose is committed to providing high-quality care and ensuring that all patients receive the best possible treatments with our team. He plans to further his education by pursuing a master’s degree in applied psychology, with the goal of addressing the root causes of mental health issues through public policy.

Jose’s responsibilities include administering Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) treatment to patients, scheduling new TMS patients and follow-up visits for existing patients, submitting prior authorizations, performing point of care testing, taking and recording vital signs, and facilitating communication between physicians and patients.
